Presentation details

Podium presentations

If you have been scheduled for a podium presentation, please note oral presentations must be no longer than 7 minutes in length, to ensure we maintain our schedule. Following each oral presentation, 3 minutes will be dedicated to questions. Session chairs will carefully manage timing of each presentation. Please be considerate and practice your presentation to adjust your timing accordingly.

All oral presentations will be in Centre Hall. Oral presentations must be compatible and presented on PowerPoint 2003, 2007 or 2010 (PC version). We ask that you load your final presentation onto a flash drive and submit to the conference organizers on Friday, March 14. Be sure to put any images and movie files used in your presentation in the same folder as your presentation. Embed these images and movie files into your presentation from this folder.

Poster presentations

If you have been scheduled for a poster presentation, please note that posters will be pinned up at the top only (pins will be provided by the resort), so we recommend that posters be mounted on Bristol board or printed on large format paper. Posters should be no larger than 3 feet wide by 4 feet tall. During poster introductions each poster presenter will have 45 seconds at the podium to introduce themselves, and say anything that they want to entice people to come to their poster.

A PowerPoint slide indicating the first author's name, school affiliation, poster title, and poster # will be created by the conference organizers and displayed during each 45 sec introduction. These performances will occur at the end of the preceding podium presentation session. Be there and be ready!
